Building a Corporate Cloud

Private cloud — a cloud infrastructure intended for use by one organization. A private cloud covers the IT services needs of the organization, its divisions or departments, and/or clients, contractors, etc. A private cloud (as a rule) is physically located and owned, managed and operated by the owner organization.

A private cloud allows redistributing available computational power and loads in the general infrastructure in a flexible manner, depending on the needs, for ensuring optimal performance and required reliability. Monitoring and management tools will allow IT specialists to track the use of hardware resources within the organization, forecast load and carry out optimization.

Problem. Today, many companies have their own IT infrastructure, from a small server room to a corporate data center. Traditional approach (application = physical server, unbound virtualization environments) to building IT is characterized by inefficient use and unreasonable utilization of power, which in turn leads to a lack of computational resources. And this is despite the fact that, as multiple studies show, the load of the entire infrastructure in most cases does not exceed 20%. Such low efficiency does not allow the IT department to react quickly and properly satisfy the emerging needs of the business. IT becomes a center of opaque, poorly managed costs. A problem of funding shortages arises and, as a consequence, creation of a heterogeneous fleet of servers, which additionally increases the cost of management, operation and update of equipment. Also, do not forget the risks of downtime and breakdowns.
Solution – building of a cloud allows to integrate the resources of all equipment into a single structure that can be managed as a single unit, to effectively allocate resources between applications, to increase accessibility (in the event of a failure of one node, its role is automatically fulfilled by another node), allows to set up an integrated system of the company's infrastructure management, to organize a centralized service of monitoring, backup and recovery.

With the development of cloud technologies, more and more companies give up, in whole or in part, their infrastructure in favor of IaaS services in the public cloud. Despite this, many customers, in view of the specifics of their activity, safety requirements, etc., prefer to build a private, corporate cloud.
Having deployed a private cloud, you:
Improve the reliability and security indicators of your IT infrastructure
Minimize the potential loss or damage of data integrity
Private Cloud Implementation will:

  • Reduce IT, maintenance and licensing costs, make them transparent and understandable to the management.
  • Improve the quality of IT services
  • Increase data storage security
  • Ensure the required accessibility of IT resources.
  • Reduce the time required for implementation of new services.
  • Improve the responsiveness of the organization.
  • Improve the efficiency of use of hardware resources

Qmaro provides professional services for building a corporate cloud:

  • We have accumulated significant competencies and experience in the construction and operation of cloud platforms of enterprise class.
  • Our team employs certified specialists.
  • We have partnership agreements with hardware and software manufacturers.

Building on this, we offer services on the construction for your company of a private cloud on the platform of WMvare enterprise class. We shall conduct an audit of the existing infrastructure and, depending on the tasks, propose the optimal configuration.

In addition to the advantages mentioned above, the use of WMvare technology makes it possible, without additional expenses, to implement backup or temporarily increase of the capacity of the private cloud at the expense of the cloud provider, by organization of a hybrid cloud.
